Focus groups at Bernett Research let you concentrate on expanding your point-of-view
Bernett Research has long been a pioneer of focus groups, and actually convened its first focus group around a ping-pong table in the Hayes’ family basement in 1973.
A lot has changed since Bernett Research founder Bernyce Hayes had to take the net down and put away the paddles before each focus group.
Today, the Bernett Research focus group facility occupies 10,000 square feet—the entire fifth floor—of a Commonwealth Avenue office center conveniently located within easy reach of both the Massachusetts Turnpike and Logan International Airport.
Our professional recruiting staff maintains databases of qualified participants not only from the city of Boston but also from the surrounding suburbs. We personally interview and qualify all participants to make sure that the members of your focus group not only represent the markets you are interested in, but also can speak intelligently and candidly about the topics you will discuss.
More than 10,000 individuals participated in focus groups hosted by Bernett Research last year alone. Our recruiters can even recruit participants for focus groups in other regions.
Bernett’s state-of-the-art facility provides high-speed Internet access, video and audio taping, and video conferencing in every conference suite. We also provide fully equipped, private offices so you can be in regular contact with your home office during your time as a guest of Bernett Research.
Bernett Research understands that the point of a focus group is to be able to focus the attention of a group of people on a particular subject. From the moment participants arrive in our reception area, we make sure every resource you need—from flip charts to Ethernet ports—is readily available. A selection of excellent local caterers offer the perfect menu to complement your session. Or, if your subject is food, we also have a complete professionally equipped kitchen.
We have conference rooms to fit any group and offer auditorium seating, living room, classroom, or conference room configurations. Our auditorium conference suite can accommodate as many as 50 participants and 25 observers. Wall-size one-way mirrors make for easy and secure viewing.
The décor throughout is corporate and subdued. A gallery of more than 150 individually selected color photographs by renowned New England photographer David Marlin adorn the hallways and office suites and contribute to a relaxed, thoughtful atmosphere.
Everything about Bernett is research. A total data collection solution provider, its Boston facility also serves as headquarters for its call center, and Web survey executive staff. We understand all phases of market research, and it shows in every one of the services we offer.
You can find out more about Bernett Research at www.bernett.com, our recently redesigned website. Not only can you find directions, a list of quality hotels in the neighborhood and a floor plan of the facility, but you will also discover a unique selection of interactive services at The Bernett Research Exchange.
At the Exchange, for example, we offer our research clients a secure, password-protected intranet they can make available to their entire research team. From their intranet they can launch new projects, monitor and manage current projects and review past projects—all with a click of a mouse. We can even broadcast your focus groups across the Internet to the desktops of members of your team who are not able to attend the session in person.
No other data collection company offers this depth of service. Whether your market research project requires call centers, web surveys, focus groups or data processing services, Bernett has what you need to capture the pulse of your marketplace.
